Hobson Industries Limited is a family run automotive engineering company delivering high quality solutions to an expanding customer base which includes Defence, corporate and private clients. We currently build in excess of 400
powertrain units and fully restore 15-20 vehicles annually and are now looking to expand.
Due to this business growth, we are seeking multiple full-time, skilled technicians with a broad range of skills who can operate across various departments. It would be desirable for individuals to have engine building and/or vehicle restoration experience.
This role would suit individuals with an eye for detail and a passion for quality. Individuals will be working on both civilian and military Land Rover vehicle platforms that we convert/refurbish to the highest standards in the industry, from the ground up. In addition, we provide powertrain units to partners and customers through our Hobson Originals channel.
The ideal candidates would be people with solid knowledge of engine, gearbox or axle building experience. Additional skills such as welding, light fabrication and vehicle electrics would be desirable for positions.
Applicants will be required to supply their own tools and work safely to a high standard.
